IMF 2006 @ 8:20 PM

u see posters everywhere...u see gems ads on tv....
but is IMF really such a big event...
i and other 47 pple from A&B class of shatec are told that we will be having the greatest honour of serving minsters and Vips at the VIP lounge newly builted at e transit just for this shorter than two week event...
we will be paid $35 per day of 12 hours of work...and we should be very grateful for this 'life time experience'
well...if wad u mean by 'life time experience' is stand at the lounge,serve these VIPs drinks,wipe table, drools and stare into empty space,i guess i got tons of 'life time experience' from this IMF...


my entry to inside the transit,where u can look at alcohol that is sold at damn cheap price but u cant buy them...everytime i walk pass the duty free shop with my classmate sarah she will be cursing under her breath...keke=P







they are selling two of these at $38,we won't even complaint if we need to pay Gst or tax or whatever shit,pple who are taking planes to overseas when u come back plz find time to shop in the transit area.......its nice~...and sometimes the things sold there cannot be found outside

night shift was more fun than the morning shift,u can sit in the lounge roam around the transit and do wadever hell u like...too bad i'm in the morning shift...my shift we cant sit in the lounge...and there must always be one pple outside



but i guess as time goes by it is better when u find things to do..

i drawn this based on the flower display around the lounge

but after a few days there it's ok la, we change the chn on the plasma tv at the lounge so at least we can watch tv.....the night shift pple even use it to watch singapore idol and soccer...morning shift we are more decent...we watch national geography...i tell u...the documentries i watched in that less thn two weeks is more thn wad i watch for my past 17 years...but ok lar...documentries are quite nice
then in my shift we came out with a roster such that there will always be two pple on duty but u 'work' for half an hour u get a hour break...clever right..keke..so i just go to lounge stand there watch one documentry thn i can break for one hr le...quite shiok..too bad we only started it in the last few days
also get to noe more pple...the grey suits...keke
they came from singapore poly and NS, at first i thought they are quite tao...but turns out they are ok.......the grey suits and shatec pple even play bingo and murderer in the other wing..and at least there is pple to talk to..
but the last few days of IMF is quite horror,the poly students is mostly gone..and the NS guys all mostly went to hotel to help out...
so the whole lounge is only left with shatec student, and hell dam...the place is like ghost town...lucky we end operation early on 21 sep...
even though the pay sucks...and the job is damn sian...i think i'm kindna gonna miss that place...
